Do I really need a baby monitor even if my baby will be in a room down the hall while I’m sleeping?

My husband and I are fighting nonstop about a baby monitor, there are several couples on our street who have babies and who will around the time we will have ours. I feel we need to spend more on a monitor so we don’t pick up other babies crying on ours, and he doesn’t want to spend any extra money. Can any parents tell me will I wake up if I don’t have a monitor close by? Help!

Best baby stroller to use in NYC streets?

I am very confused with all the strollers in the markets…I would like the reco of some experienced NYC parents. I would like a stroller that is lightweight bus also safe the baby. My biggest concern is that its something easy to maneuver and take on the subway.

I need suggestions for a baby furniture leasing business i want to start?

so i would love some ideas for the name of my business involving renting to own (leasing) baby furniture and other equipment. helping parents prepare and get ready and have the things they need in an afforable way before there baby arrives. i was thinking Ready baby and having something about leasing to own underneath..something that is aware that it’s a rent to own business but something comfortable and catchy and kinda simple..
